This Blog is a chronicle of one flatlander’s adjustment to rural mountain life with all its characters, as well as vignettes reflecting a man in transition. Kinship connected to Peter Mayles’ “Englishman goes to the South of France- Provence” books, the journey has unfolded since summer of 2013 as the mountains take over his life. Stu’s Reviews born out of endless nights at Marriott hotels , have been applying one man’s take on American culture through Zen-like reviews of films, music and books. Siskel and Ebert he is not…but the mountain boy knows from mastery and from garbage.
