Review: This is magnificent book that tells the story of the first Native American graduate of Harvard in the mid 1600’s. Beautifully written and fascinating historical saga told from a fictional woman character whose family were the original settlers of Martha’s Vineyard. A little slow to get started- especially with the local language of the era- but a sweeping book once you get hooked.
